At Newent Community School Sixth Form, enrichment is a vital part of our students’ journey. Its purpose is to broaden horizons beyond the classroom, nurture personal growth, and prepare young people for life after Sixth Form. Through a wide range of opportunities—whether academic, creative, sporting, or community-focused—enrichment helps students develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to thrive in higher education, employment, and society.

Enrichment is not just about adding extra activities; it is about shaping well-rounded individuals who can make a positive difference in the world. All of our students are expected to complete six core enrichment activities during their time at Newent Sixth Form.
