Year Ten Careers
The Careers focus in Year 10 is preparation for their weekof work experience that takes place in the summer term. All students will participate in work experience where they will spend five days with an employer of their choice. We also begin to explore the post-16 options available to the students so that they are aware of the various pathways.
The opportunities that the students get in Year 10 are:
- Work Experience (including parent information evening)
- Oxford University Visit
- Hartpury College outreach
- Royal Navy Catering Day
- University of Gloucestershire outreach
- ASK Apprenticeship visits
- Unifrog lessons as part of the PSHE programme
- National Careers Week
- Careers in the Curriculum including trips and visits
