Year Eleven Careers

The Careers focus in Year 11 is to support all students with identifying and reaching their desired post-16 destination. By the end of Year 11 all students will have had a careers interview with our Level 6 trained advisor who will support the students during this process.

The opportunities that the students get in Year 11 are:

  • Sixth Form Open Evening
  • Sixth Form Taster Week
  • CV and application form sessions
  • College application support
  • Mock interviews with local businesses
  • Gloucester College Taster Day
  • Further education post-16 interview
  • 1:1 careers guidance meeting
  • ASK Apprenticeship visits
  • Unifrog lessons as part of the PSHE programme
  • National Careers Week
  • Careers in the Curriculum including trips and visits
